SPORTS SECTION:The BCCI(Board of Cricket Control in India) have declared that all former players will recieve a share from the BCCI's bludgeoning revenues.The existing pension scheme is to be extended to all those who played for the country after Dec 31 1933.Players who played more than 25 Tests are to recieve Rs 35000 while those who played less than 25 Tests will be recieving Rs 25000.This is part of BCCI's new regime's scheme of things of appeasing the former players who played in the 80s and 90s,those who just missed out on the monetary benifits of the modern game.Other decisions taken in the working committee meeting today include restricting the use of player caps(caps with the crest) to only the players.This decision comes in the wake of Sunil Gavaskar's complaints that the Indian caps are being used by the support staff too.President of the BCCI has been authorized to take a decision on Jagmohan Dalmiya,who has been accused of siphonning funds from the 1996 World cup.Asked about the reports of fresh charges against the former President,Pawar said that the matter was subjudice,so he could not comment.
