The Asian Outlook Magazine is published monthly, with plans to go
biweekly. The aim of the magazine is to provide readers with issue
based current news stories, both in English and India’s National
language, Hindi. The magazine is first of its kind in Vancouver and the
only news magazine published in Hindi in all of Vancouver. In fact, it
is the only Indo-Canadian publication in the Tri-city as well as being
the pioneers in publishing anything in Hindi in all of B.C.
Due to the fact that the magazine gets delivered to public libraries,
it is easily accessible to general population who can read English as
half of the magazine covers stories of national and international
importance and general interest. It is only the Hindi section, which
has news from India and Canada and is meant for target audience.
Entertainment: Reviews of latest Bollywood films along with snippets of
favorite stars.
Features: Articles on current national issues, news and analysis, human
interest stories etc.
Immigrant information: Articles on how to start looking for a job etc
by reputed experts/professionals
General/Travel: Tips on yoga on the basis of research and information
provided by Yoga experts in India, current real estate and travel
stories
International news: Analysis of current international events as well as
current health related stories.
Interviews with people who have the power to change lives and pass
legislations
Hindi Section: A mix bag of Indian and Canadian news with an aim to
keep the readers updated on current events back home. Interesting
latest sports, cricket and Bollywood news is also provided in brief.
