Tired of being on dieting, taking tasteless weight loss pills and heavy exercises? Answer to the questions is very simple—Aerobics. Aerobics- a sort of nonstop musical exercise in which you dance, sweat and use oxygen to produce energy for physical workout of large muscles groups such as your legs. The aim of Aerobics is to increase the intake of oxygen for our lungs and to improve the function of the heart, the blood pump which transports the oxygen to our muscles.
Aerobics perk up your health and fitness by strengthening your cardiovascular system (heart and lungs) and reduces levels of body weight by burning extra fat. It also increases the stamina, limberness and muscle power. Many people choose aerobics to improve their body shape and good health appearance however it also assists to recovers the blood circulation and digestion process. A regular exercise routine of aerobics gets your heart pumping and increases your oxygen intake while your body works to break down fat and glucose by combining them with oxygen.
According to Edward Laskowski, who is co-director of the Sports Medicine Center at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, “When you exercise aerobically, you use large muscle, such as your legs and arms, and you increase your breathing and your heart rate."
Aerobics is for every one---men, women, child and for older people also. But it is depend on them-- what exercise they choose for aerobics whether it is a cycling, swimming, jogging or hiking. It is a concentrated fitness training which not only improves your blood circulation also takes care of your physical, mental and emotional health. It is a tool with which you may control your body in an organized manner
Aerobics can help you to avoid risks of developing many chronic diseases e.g. heart disease, hypertension, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, diabetes, high cholesterol, stroke, colon cancer and breast cancer. These exercises also help you to control your weight and shape up you body figure.
How much to exercise in daily routine
Researches shows and dieticians advice overwhelmingly that dieting is not the right approach for being healthy or weight loss. A proportional combination of balanced healthy diet with efficient workout schedule has proved the most efficient and healthy way than dieting to control your weight. Dieting might reduce your body weight for sometime but when you leave dieting, it increases your weight with the double rate. When a person combine the training of Aerobics with a diet than it give far better results than only being on dieting.
It trains all the muscles and burn fat fast and quickly.
Combined with a balanced nutritional diet, a regular aerobics program can speed up your levels of fitness along with weight loss or gain, as your diet and exercise habits are the main determinative factors whether you lose or gain your weight. The reason is that the right diet helps you balancing and controlling the calories and fat intake and 30 minutes or more of physical workout per day helps you burning up more calories than you consume in your daily life.
To improve health and to lose weight and fat both, generally in routine, a 20 to 30 minutes workout of balanced shorter, slower and moderate aerobics for three to five times a week is considered the best way. However, if you are overweight then you may need more exercise for getting your fitness target but don’t let yourself overdo it.
Whatever workout routine you choose to plan for an aerobic schedule, find something you enjoy doing to be elevated for a continuous time-period. To follow an aerobics routine you can exercise any of these activities that can be fun for you, such as hiking, bicycling, swimming, cross-country skiing, brisk walking, jogging, stair climbing, rollerblading, rowing, in-line skating, aerobic dance, water aerobics and many other activities. A newer technique of aerobics is Step aerobics that is also interesting and fun.
Some of grroup sports can also be fantabulous and great aerobic workouts as basketball, soccer, lacrosse, hockey, tennis, racquetball, squash etc. By giving your heart short bursts of exertion in form of aerobic workout on a routine schedule, your heart gets stronger and more efficient in extraditing oxygen and blood supply to all parts of your body.
With the innovative and better understanding of the consequence of physical and mental fitness in our everyday life and standard of living, exercise, fitness and diet in balanced magnitude have become a significant part of our way of life.
