My attention was drawn to the headlines: PYTHON LEGEND BATTLES CANCER ... well read on ... folks ..
its all about Monty Python star Terry Jones who is fightng cancer and will have surgery within a few days ..
The doctors say the guy himself who is 64 years old has bowel cancer and believe, fingers crossed, they have
nicked it in the bud ... just in time my friend. TerryJones was a creator of Monthy Python team ... seen as
classic British Comedy though in other countries a front runner in performance ... the period was the 1970s ... I was at College then in England ... working for my Degree in English and Drama ... incidentally nobody ever forgot me ... and I attended the FINAL REUNION of my old College which is now "closed down" and has given away to progress and is now in line with all British Universities and bears the seal of approval as a British University 2006:
Terry Jones was co joined with: Michael Palin, whom I met at his book signing and is a great favourite in Ireland as well as the UK ... Eric Idle. was on Radio 2 Steve Wright's Afternoon programme a daily broadcast which I enjoy ..
John Cleese and Graham Chapman ... my family know these guys well... and their families know my family well as well ... fight on mate ... its the battle worth winning!
Clare Short the Labour former Cabinet Minister has left the Labour Movement and is joining an Independent
Group ... she has fallen foul of her boss Prime Minister Tony Blair ... and her private life rears its ugly head again, according to the Daily Mirror. Short invited the late Mo Mowlam's man to move in with Short after the
untimely death of Mo Mowlam from the same disease that Monty Python Terry Jones is now battling with!!
