Established Theories of Universe – Some contradictions.
We cannot search for truth on Google but it is left to one who is famous than reliable source. These days more quoted to ‘Researchers’
Most reliable Source these days are the Researchers But like light he seems to have a dual property . The age of the Universe is in dispute, the acceleration due to gravity the famous “g” has been questioned . The speed of light too is not granted the peace of an undeniable constant.
Over 140 years Charles Drawin explained natural selection and the origin of species.He is being contested by Biologists who claim that there is such a thing called Intelligent Design. They argued that life is too complex to be a product of natural selection. In 1802 the British philosopher William Paley gave example of a rock and watch lying on the field. A Rock, he said, could be formed through natural means and the Watch however had to have a maker.. He compared the complexity of life to the Watch. Charles Darwin himself replied to Paley over long periods natural selection can lead to complexity. But today Intelligent Design has made such a strong return that it is being taught in some American schools along with the Darwenian theory
While staunch Christians believed that the Intelligent Designer is God while others speculate it could be imaginative alien. Apart from our creations what is not clear today is if we rose from the Sulphur seas of ancient earth or if we first rode as microscopic spores through the vastness of space on an Asteroid that crashed into this Planet
Panspermia the seeding of life from outer space has been endorsed by respected cosmologists like Fred Hoyle and Chandra Wickrama Singhe The origin of Universe itself in dispute though the intensity of this argument has lessen over the years.
Not everyone believes that the Universe was born from a microscope point , the central idea of the Big Bang a term coined by Fred Hoyle in absolute British derision for the concept. The Indian cosmologist Jayant Narlikar who is among the many who has opposed the Big Bang theory and suggested another model that explains that creation of Universe is through several bangs instead of mother bang. There is also some dispute when capital ‘U’ must be used in Universe.
In the 16 th century Galileo dropped two balls of different weights from the top of Tower of Pisa. They both hit the ground at the same time confirming that acceleration due to gravity is same for all objects irrespective of their weight Several experiments were made after Galileo have confirmed the hypothesis.
There are scientists who do not agree to this point .They say that there are inconsistencies in acceleration due to gravity by replacing Galileo’s experimental balls with the Moon. The discovery of tenth planet was done by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930 The Planet was named Pluto but its status as a tenth Planet was questioned ever since its discovery. Their argument is that It is tinier than Moon and small enough to lie in United States. Also the argument was extended that its an icy globe in the far away Kuiper Belt that is littered with Comets. Some of these comets it was theorized were larger than Pluto. So the Ninth planet was considered as a mere comet by many scientists till 1999. The International Astronomical Union promotes the planet officially as Pluto. In 2000 the museum of Rose Center for Earth and Science in New York left Pluto out of the planets display and called it a Comet.
The definition of planet itself has not been settled. The issue of genes are responsible for intelligence has been debated. The existence of the gay genes is being questioned . The number of dimensions that entrap us has been long contested by String Theorists has been more than the visible three – Length , Breadth and Height . Nothing seems to be clear.
What must we do to find the truths of our times?
It is probably not to trouble lay persons with the confusion of scientific truths that Plato , a ccordial man otherwise once engraved out side his Academy ,
