A picture of babies looks like identical twins and their sister ... how lovely! And just in
time for Christmas.
Though I must admit I dont ask these days how they were produced unless I see the
picture I think its more of this scientific production baby farm I read to much and hear
about on the Radio.
I am sure you have heard the broadcaster say ... cloning ... or egg donor bank
or sperm donor bank of fertilization zones and so on ... you must wonder like
myself if we are producing monsters rather than members of the human race.
Or ... another line is ... the freezing of the sperm or egg for future generations ...
what future generations if we are faced with "global warming" and "the melting
of the ice cap" and the "global climatic change" and "the times that are in it". And freezing fog at London Airports!
It always strikes me as funny, but I am sure somebody else must share my
sense of humour when the blogs and docs run together every known form
of expression in English and it should read .... doctors go mad on human
race for a big fat cheque! Or the other day I saw a student scientist on the
web pages and she declared a state of emergency said that the heat wave
in London was due to the melting ice in Antartica! I mentioned it to a friend,
and she said "there's snow in London" ... perhaps she is too far away to
see it and has switched her telly off . Why not try the web pages.
British solider gave army secrets to Iran ... reads the story ...and has
appeared in a London Court charged the that old Official Secrets Act Section
1 re communcating secrets to the enemy.
We are all silenced these days, or do we live in an "open prison"! Should
not the soldier have the right to save our world since only he can make
that decision at that point in time. Its always great for these big wigs
in London to charge people with their actions but never take enough
time to seek out why people tell stories out of class ... well, in my
excellent experience in the classroom its because it is a necessary
statement given the circumstances people find themselves in. Of course
the alternative to that is to "die with the information". If you do that,
you have world wide condemnation ... everybody speculates
what actually went on ... why werent we told... why didnt you keep us
up to date. ... when will people learn ... brave soldier to have spoken up.
So the anger then which is moral outrage in The Times, is more
concerned with the fact that the soldier took money. Perhaps if he
had been paid in "buns" and got fat nobody would have bothered much
about it. He would be charged with "obesity" by Prime Minister Blair,
and I would be involved in teaching him activities for a big fat cheque!
