Well on a windy and wet but not too cold January Day I set off to the local newsagency to
buy Tuesday's Guardian.
I found much there to interest all readers. I thought it would be interesting to concentrate
on the JOBS Front ... and I see that there is much on offer in the United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Overseas. Here's hoping something comes
of the success story of getting the right position at the right time. Particularly since
Her Majesty's Government at the moment is fairly user friendly and offering an
incentive to return to work by way of financial renumeration. At last we are getting
somewhere ... I read too about the next in line for the Prime Minister's Job
Gordon Brown being featured upfront and all his goings on at present seem to
engage him in dialogue with everyone. In spite of his "much talked about"
The Beckhams arrive in Hollywood but is it "Old" or "New" Hollywood, and the
media and commentators are keen to point out that Mrs. Beckham is known
as "Posh Spice" and her clothes are not exactly "film star quality" but seem
to stretch out towards "the sportsman of the year fashion" which David Beckham
is sporting in Tueday's Guardian.
Apparently his "contract" with the USA Team doesnt "kick in" until August 2007, so I guess,
he must be on "supply". But he has definately left Spain and Europe behind. They are
in the thick of it ... house hunting in Hollywood California, looking for schools for their
children and generally relocating in America. I wonder if David Beckham got a
relocation cheque as it sounds jolly expensive ... still, who am I to worry about
Polly Toynbee is writing her usual column and she is often on the path of
righteousness ... are we leading towards a financial revolution for the
British Feminist Writer, or is it more of that old "Job Centre" thinking
where Ms Toynbee at down at the local Job Centre "researching" and
"writing" her column and mine here at Shvoong.com .. is that really
that famous comedienne or do my eyes deceive me ... I guess, everyone these
days is doing charity work at Job Centres in the UK.
Happy reading .... excellent stuff ... keep on reading ...
