New AI Qaida tape may have been produced in pak
UK security agencies are poring over a so called “video will” issued by the presumed ringleader of London suicide bombers in which he declared “war” on his fellow British citizens and American Western allies and claim responsibitity for the attacks on behalf of AI Qaida.
The videotape produced by the al-Sahab video production house was broadcast on the ai-Jazeera Arabic TV channel on Thursday.
The tape which showed 30-year-old British –born-and-bred suicide bomber –Mohammad Sidique Khan ranting against the west “war against my people” had an accompanying commentary by ai-Qaida second-in-command,Dr Ayman al-Zawahiri .Security experts said there was possibility but no proof—that Khan had recorded the video while visiting Pakistan. They warned ,however that the Khan tape.which praised “Sheikh Osama bin Laden” did not conclusively prove Al Qaida had directly mastermind 7/7.
Appalled British political and security commentators said the sight and sound of a very British accent namely Khan pronounced West Yorkshire vowels, declaring war on his fellow Britons was meant to “chill the UK to its marrow”.
On Friday all the signs were that Britain felt deeply violated and affronted by the new British accent toAI Qaida threatened terrorist rants against the west.
Security experts said it was significant that at no point did Khan and al-Zawahiri appear together .However police and security forces say Khan “video wills provides the missing piece of a baffling jigsaw which had Scoltland Yard investigating a massive attack without any last sign from the bombers that they were suicide jihadis .Would-be suicide bombers are known traditionally to leave last wills in the form of videotaped messages that are meant to explain and justify their actions..The video wills are seen asa useful propaganda tool for Islamist radical outfits and their websites.Till now ,British security experts have been puzzled that no”video wills” by the four 7/7 suicide bombers had surfaced They said that it was not clear why Khan tape had surfaced now.
