We once lolled on the lap of luxury

Science soars infinitely! Defining and shaping
A new imagination. Tell me, who spares pain finding
Pearls from oyster? Wondering why very few among few having
The heart of courage and curiosity yet fading!

Opportunity nearing nature once graced me. Offering grief
Thou dispersed cognizing me the evanescence of life’s presence
“Weren’t be a little lengthy?” I felt like losing my sense
Even scanty of answers console myself sharing rare relief.

Ever any canvas built up to depict such vibrant hue
Man’s effort stretches to touch, but synchronizes to eschew.
The beauty of vastness manifests how inferior our creation!
Thou variety so variant always charmed us with thou variation.

So selfish ever could we be to drink oblivion of the nature
That being kinfolk to us! How long ignorance pretends us immature?
Time uncountable floated in our regression towards eternity
That once we lolled on the lap of luxury will remain only in history.

Poet’s remark:
Nature, to me, like mother’s lap, beloved’s breast, means of merriment, and reason of relish. Still, I believe human’s debt to nature growing gradually that’ll ever rise but never set. The more achievement human achieve the more owings will be added to the list of “We lost”.
