We should consider even the known irritating persons as opportunities of learning in our life. This topic has been discussed in an article in Times of India dt. Aug 06, 2011. Spiritually we should consider troubles, obstacles and persons involved as challenges for forward movement, progress and growth. A person who does something negative for us repeatedly will not change, even if we avoid him and focus on other things. There may be change of locations of persons or jobs and then there is no pain or hostility generated. But sometime later, we may have problem when similar person comes in contact. We should consider it as an opportunity to adopt some approaches, learning from such experience and skills to grow and evolve. We should use empathy and find out as to why these persons behaved that way. We should have courage to assert, draw a line and speak up. If not, it is better to forgive and forget or be brave enough to disagree and speak out. Such persons thus force us to change and grow. Our grumbling about others will make us unreasonable. Regarding our putting negative labels on others as unreasonable, stub born and taking us for granted, we may give them time or discuss with them politely but firmly.
