His victory has caught the imagination of many people of the world-mostly the youth and the developing countries all over the world look at him with the hope. But what is so special about obama’s victory?
Inspite of being a purely internal matter of US politics, the world has reacted as if it was more of an international affair. It is so because it is for the first time that a middle class man has been elected by the people of USA. It is indeed a rare achievement in a white majority when only a few decades ago it was impossible to imagine. It is difficult to believe that this could happen in USA where Blacks were discriminated against and had no right to vote. His victory symbolizes the beauty of democracy and has become the talk of the world.
With this ,Obama became the messiah of change.
