The Ramayan is one of the most holy epics in Hindu religion. The Ramayan, the name itself describes that it is the story of Lord Rama.It was for the first time written by Valmiki in Sanskrit language and after that it is translated in innumerable languages.Valmiki was a notorious burgler, killer during his youth . He was lost in a forest while he was young. His real name was Ratnakara and he was a robber looting people passing through the forest from one village to another.

When oneday the great sage Narad was forced by Ratnakara, his life turned into a new leaf and with the help of Narad he meditated to get Rama .After hundreds of years of meditation Ratnakara turned into a great sage Valmiki.Inspired by Narad ,he started to write Ramayan with the narration and vision of God Brahma.

He worked hard to complete successfully the great epic The Ramayan in which pride and praise of Hinduism have been inherited. In Ramayan,Rama is presented as an ideal human being who is reveared as a great human hero, obedient son, patriotic king, adorable brother, supreme husband etc. which are the major teaching from his life. And finally it has been proved that Rama is an omnipotent deity.

There are various stages and profound versions in Ramayan. It begins with the childhood of Rama. The dramatic story of king Dashratha who married three queens i.e,Kaushalya,Sumitra and Kaikeyi, makes a huge complexity in Ramayan.Dashratha's four sons Rama,Bharat,Laxman and Shatrughna. The intimate love among four brothers, their parents makes Ayodhya full of joys and merries. The four brothers respectively get married with four sisters Sita,Urmila,Mandavi,And Shrutkriti.

Many turns and twists comes throughout ,Rama has to be banished to the forest for fourteen years .The general greed of mother towards his son's victory has been shown when Kaikeyi makes Rama to go to the forest and her son Bharat to be the king. But Rama happily accepts the matters and along with his wife Sita and brother Laxman, leaves for the forest for a long period of time. The demise of Dashratha, anger of Bharat towards his mother's useless wishes and the simplicity of his life is explained crystal clear.

The difficult life in the forest and their interaction with sins and devils have been shown beautifully in Ramayan.During these incidents in the forest,a demon king of Lanka,Ravana kidnaps Sita and tries to possess her.During this hard situation Rama and Laxman with the help of Sugriva ,attack in Lanka and kills Ravana .Lord Hanuman plays a great role in these contexts .Sugriva's army of monkeys destroy Lanka to get Sita back.

But Ramayan continues until Ram happily returns back to Ayodhya and again makes Sita exiled to the forest. She gives birth to Lava and Kusha ,twins as Rama's son.The story flows smoothly.

Anyway the Ramayan is one of the best and fabulous examples of the way human lives. It teaches that sins are not constructed for us but if virtue is taken to support our life, oneday we'll rejoice the real victory.
