Sunda Wiwitan (Kanekes, Bantam)Wiwitan Sunda (Sundanese: "Sunda beginning", "Sunda true" or "genuine Sunda") is a religion or a cult belief in the power of nature and ancestral spirits (animism and dynamism) adopted by the traditional Sundanese people.
Adherents of this doctrine can be found in some villages in the province of Banten and West Java, as in Kanekes, Lebak, Banten; Ciptagelar Kasepuhan Banten Kidul, Cisolok, Sukabumi; Kampung Naga, and Cigugur, Brass.
