(THE MOST MYSTERIOUS MYSTRY OF THE UNIVERSE)
INTRODUCTION & LOCATION:
The Bermuda triangle is a area in the shape of a triangle going through the Bermudas, Puerto Rico and and the coast of Florida. Every year whole ships just mysteriously disappear and are never retrieved.
THE REASON OF POPULARITY:
The Bermuda Triangle is famous for the disappearance of over 66 airplanes and ships. The most famous disappearances is an airplane called flight 19. The ship disappeared over 30 years ago and it hasn't been seen since. A massive land and sea search was mounted, but neither bodies nor wreckage were ever found.
WHATS UNUSUAL ABOUT BERMUDA?
1. EXTREME MAGNETIC FIELDS
The area known as the Bermuda Triangle is one of the two places on Earth where a magnetic compass does point towards true north, a phenomenon called compass variation. Navigators must compensate the amount of variation or the craft they are on will go off course. A region commonly called the "Devil's Sea" in the Pacific Ocean is the other area of compass variation.
2. Appearance of UFO’s:
sometimes UFO’s were seen in this area by many people.
3. Presence of glowing water:
glowing white water is an another unusual characteristic of Bermuda triangle.
THE THEORIES PUT FORWARD BY THE SCIENTIST ABOUT THE MYSTERIOUS DISAPPERANCE OF AIRCRAFTS & SHIPS IN BERMUDA TRIANGLE:
1. Presence of gas hydrates:
It has been discovered by the scientists at the Cardiff University that there is a large presence of methane gas in the ocean floor of this area. There are various reasons for this occurrence. The methane gas is formed due to the decayed bodies of the sea creatures. If there were periodic eruptions of methane, it would not be able to provide the required flexibility for the ships to sail in the waters. These eruptions can cause the ships to sink without a hint of warning. During the times of such eruptions, even an aircraft faces danger, as it can catch fire immediately. Methane also constitutes the power to stall engines once it is released into the air.
The biggest issues in that area normally are hurricanes, but it's not particularly a spawning area for storms," said Dave Feit, chief of the marine forecast branch of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Marine Prediction Center.
3. Gulf Stream:
The Gulf Stream is an ocean current that originates in the Gulf of Mexico and then flows through the Straits of Florida into the North Atlantic. In essence, it is a river within an ocean, and, like a river, it can and does carry floating objects. It has a surface velocity of up to about 2.5 metres per second (5.6 mph).A small plane making a water landing or a boat having engine trouble can be carried away from its reported position by the current.
4. Human Error:
One of the most cited explanations in official inquiries as to the loss of any aircraft or vessel is human error. Whether deliberate or accidental, humans have been known to make mistakes resulting in catastrophe, and losses within the Bermuda Triangle are no exception.

1967: December 22, Witchcraft, cabin cruiser, 2 onboard, disappears one mile (1.6 km) off Miami; had called Coast Guard requesting a tow, but on their arrival 19 minutes later no trace found; possibly pushed north by Gulf Stream;
INCIDENTS ON LAND
1969: Great Isaac Lighthouse (Bimini, Bahamas) - its two keepers disappeared and were never found.
ISLAMIC POINT OF VIEW ABOUT BERMUDA TRIANGLE:
There r more than 300 small islands in bermuda triangle.USA has discovered only few of those islands of bermuda.
Sheikh zainudin (muslim scholar and historian) visited bermuda triangle 700 years ago.Sheikh zainuddin says that he went first to a island close to EUROPE..7 ships came from bermuda and took him to bermuda. he first saw water which was white in color .it is this area which cannot be crossed by common people.then he saw an island.he saw white buildings and all people in white dresses.birds and animals their were a bit different from what he had seen.he was told tht their r three main islands where people live.on one island there are FARM LANDS..many crops r cultivated.on other island the descendants of IMAM MEHDI A.S live..and IMAM MEHDI A.S live on separate island with 30 of his followers.
