Singapore Changi Airport - The First Terminal Male Toilet Messy
I went back from Singapore to Jakarta just about few days ago via first terminal of Changi Airport. The whole thing start from the lobby is look neat and tidy even look busy with passengers leave for singapore or just coming to the country. The front path floor was only sealed with thick carpet on the wooden floor. The bad thing is the wooden floor with empty space under it. So when i knocked with my foot a lot of noise. However it's still look strong to hold people with its luggage at the top of it. it's too many scotch tape on the floor just to make sure one don't slip off if the foot accidentally kick the "edge open" grey carpet.
About the male toilet i went into was look wet but still look clean. The Janitor was look busy swipe the wet floor. The Toilet room are look little bit untidy but the clean is still so so. The water spray tap is look damaged. The water spray head was look gone and the steel pipe was being sealed here and there with the tapes. So far the information said that Singapore government had raised up the clean water fee since last month. Perhaps that's why they never equipped with water sprays on the each toilet rooms instead of tissue rolls.
In my quest the first terminal was still under renovation. The ceiling outside the restroom along side with the check in to the waiting room was take apart. Lots of workers that i presume most of it coming from India or Malaysia working in progress.
There is also public canteen which need lift access below the building. The public canteen hall is litte bit harsh, crowded and not too clean. The prices on each food store were diffrentiate from public and workers around the airport. But I think it's for Changi airport employee or employeer canteen. Many of Indonesian workers around. However I spotted they wear the same uniform even for different food stalls. Perhaps one management.
Overall the speed on serving the old man signing for refunding GST(Government Service Tax) is quite fast. One of the officer on duty gave my grand parents who had old and hard to walk to be first serve. Both of my grandparents were using wheelchair to get onaboard the plane cabin. I gave plus score for this. Rating: 7,5 / 10.
