In this book the twins are settled into school but their very haughty and stuck-up cousin is coming and she is very like the two girls when they first started: looking down on everyone.
Another new girl is sulky, bad-tempered Margery who is excellent at games and sports – she is my favourite character because I can tell she has a secret from the first page I read about her but I couldn’t guess what it was: her secret was very unexpected!
I love the part where Tessie has the birthday midnight feast but gets caught be Mamzelle because somebody knocked on her door and ran off.
