Restaurant “O Casarão”in Tavira, Portugal

Personal Experience Review   by:spaceship9

Located in the southeast coast of the Algarve in the town of Tavira, “O Casarão” is a locally famous small restaurant and has to offer to the visitor the best of traditional cuisine from the Algarve. Meat and fish dishes are freshly cooked using fresh products from the local markets.
You can find “O Casarão” online at www.casarao.co.uk  and visit the restaurant at the town of Tavira in Portugal.
Located in the southwest coast of the Algarve, in the past Tavira  was dependent on tuna fishing and related industries. The town is situated close to the hills of “Serra do Caldeirão” and a mile away from the sea.
“O Casarão”, property of Senhor Chico, is a family ran business that follows the tradition of fresh meat and fish that made the gastronomy of Algarve so well regarded. If you are visiting the Algarve at any time in the year you may want to stop by the “Casarão”, maybe before a trip to the beautiful beach of Ilha de Tavira or to the contryside, and taste real good, traditional home-made Portuguese food.
At www.casarao.co.uk you will find all the useful addresses, travel information and maps and enough information about the many dishes you can choose from. Expect the menu to be simple and the food to be good. Go on, take a break from fast living and fast food, sit down and enjoy yourself - visit the “Casarão” and you won’t be disappointed.
