Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I am not one of the "rich visitors" to Jamaica and therefore was unable to stay in any of the five star hotels on the island but that does not mean I didn't get to enjoy a one week vacation on the beautiful island called Jamaica.
The hotel Sunset Jamaica located in Montego Bay was just perfect, the beach, the food and the workers weer friendly, after the first day of getting acquainted with the language and the speed in which it is spoken, I requested outing or tours of the country especially since I didn't want to cooped up inside the hotel.
I was taken on a safari, it was amazing. I rode a ATV through the woods, through water and even mudpits (water and dirt together), when we got back I was wet, dirty but laughing all the way to the shower, I have never felt so alive. The following day I was taken to Ocho Rios to a place call Dolphin Cove where you can swim with them and feed the shark......hmmm shark, now that was a surprise but after listening to the instructors I nervously entered the water and it was exhilarating. My final trip was to Mystic Mountain Jamaica.....oh Lord the fun was too much; the zipline, the bobsled, the explorer.
I enjoy my trip and planning to visit again real soon and taking more of my family this time...its going to be a blast.
