Marked by stunning scenery in the midst of coconut trees, dunes and beaches with crystal clear water, Fortaleza, capital of Ceara state, attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Bringing together 34 km of beaches, highlighting options such as Praia de Iracema and Futuro aPraia, the city has the advantage of being close to many other destinations, which ensures the visitor a chance to extend the possibilities of their tourist itinerary.

One such alternative, the 166 km from the capital, is the beach of Canoa Quebrada, the city of Aracati. Known as the "Broadway" in Brazil, the beach is characterized by sand dunes and red cliffs, where the visitor is packed by rhythms such as reggae and forro.

Beyond it, the beach of Jericoacoara, distant 287 km from Fortaleza, has a landscape where white sands, rafts and ponds of clear water (many freshwater) together practitioners of different sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing, and hundreds of bathers.

Another destination is the beach of Cumbuco, 30 km from Fortaleza. Famous for its buggy and skibunda, the place is ideal for tourists who want to enjoy different attractions, besides the comfort of your hotel in Fortaleza.

Adding to the possibilities, Praia and Praia das Fontes Lagoinha form paradisiac landscapes with cliffs, hills and numerous freshwater lakes 90 km and 106 km from the capital, respectively.

To complete the tourist route along the beaches of Fortaleza Area, White Hill, 91 km from Fortaleza, the tour closes with a beautiful sunset and offers visitors many examples of local crafts such as stained glass, bottles and hourglasses decorated with sand color.
