We are blessed to be born on the most beautiful and amazing
planet of the galaxy-Earth. The only planet which can support life; which is
the cluster of beautiful and unique flora and is a hub of varied and rare fauna.
If we are enjoying the joys of this planet, it is our ethical responsibility to
safeguard and preserve its beauty and purity.
Rapid Development, industrialization, modernization and
technological advancement all these factors together with the ignorance and
frivolity of human beings is responsible for the depletion of natural
quintessence from the planet. The insensitive decisions and acts of human
beings like nuclear power explosions in Hiroshima, contraption of plastic bags,
cutting of trees and ruthless killing of endanger species are responsible for
the ecological imbalances. One such innocent animal which is the pray of our
pleasure is Tiger. It has become one of the endangered species on the verge of
diminution. It indeed is shameful for
all the citizens of India to see the diminishing number of our national animal.
It is high time that we all should stand up for the Environment Protection and
Tiger Conservation.
Many Government, semi government and even private
organizations have come up to support the noble cause of Tiger Conservation.
Groups across the span and girth of the country have joined hands to
collectively realize the goal of tiger conservation in India. Various programs
are directed towards security and safety of the animal, so as to stop their
illegal poaching and hunting.
Government has set up many Wildlife Sanctuaries and National
parks like Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, Jim Corbett National
Park, Sariska Tiger Reserve, Ranthambore National Park, and Kaziranga National Park
to protect tigers. Projects like Project Tiger and Project Elephant are
initiated by the Government and NGOs to work towards a hale and hearty
ecosystem where different species of Flora and fauna can be cosseted and
preserved.
Apart from the initiatives and
programs for Tiger Conservation in India, there are accomplishments for Lion
Protection, Elephant Conservation, Asiatic Lion Conservation and Dolphin
Conservation too. These initiatives are helpful in protecting the environment
in a very proficient and practical manner.
Eco Tourism is also an effective way
to save the endangered and atypical species and to attract more footfalls of
tourists to explore the beauty of Mother Nature.
Let’s all join the mission to save
the Earth from any turmoil created by mankind.
