"Nyepi", Nyepi is a Balinese "Day of Silence" that is commemorated every Isaawarsa (Saka
new year) according to the Balinese calendar (in 2013, it fell on March12 ). It is a day of silence, fasting, and meditation. The day
following Nyepi is also celebrated as New year. In this day nobody is allowed to go out from their home/hotel, from 6am till 6pm.

UBUD (Art & Culture Village)
If you love arts, this green village is a perfect spot. some of interesting place is:
Ayung River Rafting, Monkey Forest, Batik workshops, Puri Peliatan (one of the oldest temples in Bali), Goa gajah Temple (Elephant Cave).
SEMINYAK (Boutiques, Restaurant, Cafe, Villa, Clubs)
This place is quite comfortable & a bit exclusively expensive. But to indulge yourself in this place is satisfying.
Try: Warung Made Restaurant, KUDETA Dining, Chez Gado-Gado Restaurant & Bar, Flamingo Boutique, Prana Spa.
JIMBARAN (Sea Food Cafe, Beach)
Watching sunset, having a nice dinner on a soft sandy beach? Why not?
GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana - Culture Entertainment)
From 9am to 5pm, you can enjoy many Balinese cultural art (dance, music, etc).
NUSA DUA (Five starts hotels, beach, shopping arcade & restaurants)
If you like to stay in a luxurious hotels, this is the right place... Grand Hyatt, St. Regis, Westin Hotel, Sheraton, etc.
PASAR SUKAWATI (Sukawati Market)
This is where you want to hunt for some exotic merchandise & shop in a traditionally Indonesian market place, where you can get a bargain.
BALI SAFARI MARINE PARK (Bali Zoo)
Want to have some joyful day with kids? This is the one of 3 biggest zoo in Indonesia, although is Marine Park, but not only fish tank will be at your sight, you can see many Indonesian exotic animals too.
