Taman sari water castle is a most popular historic buildings in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. It situated at Bantul street, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Such its name “water castle”, This means that the building is a castle surrounded by water. Yore, this castle was the second residence for the Jogjakarta kings.The King often deliberately stayed at this castle to meet his "dayang ". In java, dayang is usually defined as " ladies-in-waiting
" . The king had a lot of Dayang and they always spent their time to bath together and always wanted to make the king be happy. Beside of that, The king also used this castle to welcome his friend from the other kingdom.

The fort was made up of various rooms, including a shower room, pool, an ascetic place, the king's baths, king bedroom and also there is a special place for the ladies there.
Now, The local people said that till now pools where the king's bath has never dry / low tide, there was always water that flooded despite a prolonged drought struck. it always appear water and local people believe that its water is trusted can cure a sick person with whatever disease.
