ITN have blogged tonight the news of the Official Visit of His Holiness The Pope Benedict XVl to the UK and he will visit Glasgow, Edinburgh, Coventry and London.
When the :Pope is in Britain he will beatify Cardinal John Henry Newman a 19th century theologian at a public mass in Coventry! His Holiness will be here in the UK from September 16 to 19th and the Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh will meet with the Pope in Edinburgh during his visit. The last Papal visit to the UK was in 1982 when Pope John Paul ll visited Britain.
The Pope will also meet the Archbishop of Canterbury in the UK and also other Church Leaders at Westminster Abbey! Nice work ITN!
