Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused the U.S.A government as the mastermind behind the plan of burning the Koran by a right-wing Christian organization led Tery Jones last weekend. The allegations submitted Khamenei in a speech quoted by Iranian news agency IRNA. The speech was well into Iran's tough stance on a number of incidents of burning of the Koran which took place in several places in the U.S.A.
In his speech, Khamenei said as world leaders of arrogance, the U.S.A had masterminded the plan. Khamenei also briefly mentioned Israeli involvement which also affects the U.SA. government. He also asked the community not easily believe the U.S. government's actions saying that Terry Jones has been isolated.
"This and previous incidents clearly illustrate that the global arrogance of the U.S. demonstrated through plans to attack the main foundations of Islam and the Koran," he said as quoted by The New York Post online edition, Tuesday (14 / 9). In Iran, anger against the Koran burning plan to invite 1,000 demonstrators who shouted 'U.S.A Death' and 'Father U.S.A should be killed'.
The protests that took place in front of the embassy of Switzerland to Iran could trigger clashes with police. Swiss Embassy protestors an easy target for being the representative of U.S. interests in Iran after the severance of diplomatic relations between the two countries after the Iranian revolution that took place in 1979.
The protest even make the Indian government to block the broadcast television operators Iran about the Koran burning plan. Blocking was performed with anti-US reasons for keeping the movement that is now widespread in the last few days
