Expert system is a system
mimic expertise (skill) a person in a particular field in finishing
a problem (Horn, 1986). According to Weiss and Kulikowski (1984), the system
is an expert system;

1.Menangani
problems - real and complex problems, which require interpretation of a

2.Menyelesaikan
problem - the problem with using a computer model that uses
expert human reasoning and produce the same conclusion with the conclusion
to be achieved human expert when faced with a problem - the same problem

Sometimes an expert system is also well
called knowledge-based systems (knowledge based system). But actually
expert system is only one kind of knowledge-based systems.

An expert system has
ability to dialogue with users and then give a suggestion,
view, or conclusion

The most commonly containing 4 (four) pieces of important components: knowledge base
(Knowledge base), inference engine (inference engine), explanatory facilities, and
user interface
