When Javanese people face the reality of disappointing and things that are oppressive, they are taught to accept the situation with patience and hope that from the above, that God will do something. God Himself in a flash of time will show the justice and power. Time will of tell the truth. In the philosophy of Javanese is also known slogan "Gusti Ora Sare" (meaning "God is Not Sleeping") which contains the belief that God does not forget or neglect, and a moment will act on something that is not good. The philosophy that teaches patience and belief that God does not forget even for a while the righteous suffer and the "apparently" forgetting God.

In the belief of God's people since the days of the Old Testament, it has been reflected in the "confession of faith" and belief that God is the keeper of Israel (Mz 121) titled "The Lord Keeper of Israel." Especially in verse 4: Truly not asleep and not asleep Guardians of Israel. Believed God would not let people believe falter and fall, and walk alone without care of God. The conviction was understood as a belief that just makes people believe that dared to live a life full of challenges, not easily give up in failure, because he felt Guard and Auxiliary have constant guard. The conviction was not taught to be fatalistic, surrendered to the state and with a passive attitude, nrimo, as if to surrender to time.
