So let me do it and they have and my poem made the shortlist at last but then last night so did my work in teaching so the excitement if read from the lines is that my poem .... "Arrondissement" made the shortlist, but they have excluded my poem from their National Anthology of Poetry so Why Poetry and not mine in the best place not the guest place. I will keep you posted when I find out.
The Managing Director of United Press London invited me to call him at my own expense about my poetry so he obviously loves it and to quote from United Press London ...
"I'm writing to say what a pleasure it was to read the work /I/ submitted for the National Poetry Competition/
so I guess that's something to put UP before my bosses, judges, and fellow teachers, poets, playwrights and authors .. truth to tell I may have escaped from mediocrity to be dragged back to it as I won the Pens for Poetry but I stand tall with such praise in the world of poetry .. thanks United Press and hope all goes well with your new anthology in which my poem "Arrondissement" is published title:
