There has been a lot in the newspapers about the Newspaper scandal: News of the World and the resulting closure of this Newspaper after 168 years was quoted last week. The Journalists, an Editor or so, have been arrested but released on bail, and an ex reporter was found dead but nobody seems to know why. Murdoch was at a Meeting of Sorts, and someone threw a Pie at Murdoch and there was total chaos and mayhem and later this morning the
BBC Radio 3 Team announced that the assailant was arrested and he hit Murdoch with some sort of foam .. but its metaphorically correct to comment that Murdoch was hit by a "Pie". The news is in every single newspaper I picked up at Media Centre, Southampton University Library and when I diligently turned the pages for news of Europe or the rest of the world as faraway as the Middle East, the News of the World, its closure, and the resultant scandal was splashed across world headlines page by page I read on and on and there was no conclusion such as the whole mystery was solved, the issue had been sorted, the business in hand was in the hands of the Law. Metropolitan Police are referred to in relation of hacking. News International story co runs with the stories of the hacking, closure of the News of the World, and the Pie in the Face thrown at Murdoch. Thanks BBC Radio3 team for clarification and also let me extend thanks to the Media Centre, University of Southampton for news and views on the hacking scandal, ex News of the World stories and the chief player :: Murdoch!
