Studying (or even working) continuously or in an unplanned way may lead to panic and stress. This topic has been discussed in an article in Times of India dt. Feb 24, 2012. Students must make advance preparation by studying from beginning of the session, giving more time and attention for difficult and important topics, keeping mornings for studies due to freshness of the mind and avoiding last minute studies. Thus students will avoid confusion and also get time for revision.  Also students need a healthy diet, regular exercise and games. Pranayam, Vipassana and meditation are helpful for physical and mental health, alertness and positive thoughts.
For getting confidence, 5-7 year old question papers should be solved, before the examinations for about two months. Also failure if any should be considered as an opportunity for future. Anxiety and fear should be avoided, since these cause depression, poor memory and lack of attention. There are problems in the life of everybody and we should face them calmly, to the best of our capability. Parents should support their children for concentration, maintain healthy atmosphere in the home, control observing of TV programmes and use of computers, avoid too high expectations and also undue criticism.
There are examples of many persons with handicaps having succeeded in life through their own efforts. We have to build
our own character and achieve success in life.
