Peace be upon to you
All praises are be to Allah SWT who has given us his
various mercies and blessing unlimitedly and He has guide us with light of
Islam so that today we are given an independence and freedom for our beloved
Indonesian republic unity.
May Shalawat and Salaam are always be with our noblest
messenger of Allah SWT, with his family, his companions, his follower/community
that follow his teaching till the end of the world.
In this month, exactly on 17 th august, we celebrate and
remembering sixty two the day of
Indonesian independence. What should we do with this special moment?. As next generation of Indonesian, we have to
muse/contemplate (merenung) again with the meaning of independence and merits
(jasa-jasa) of Indonesian patriots/hero. We should remember the ambitions of
Indonesian warriors, we should respect our warriors that have struggled
reaching this the freedom.
How to respect and remember
their merits? By holding ceremony? Or by doing happiest something as the doing
of Islamic boarding school outsider? Or perhaps by holding many kinds of
contest until we forget five times praying?.
As Moslem, we should celebrate
and remember this Indonesian independence day by Islamic
celebrating way. Moreover as Islamic student (santri)! To respect the merits of
Indonesian warriors, we should pray them by reading qur'an, not to sing which
is done by majority people, they forgot the essence of independence day. We should thanks god that
give this freedom and also we should accustomed inner moving (gerak batin) such as praying, reading qur'an and shalawat.
Not only external moving that usually we hold such as carnival, panjat pinang
contest, and the other contest.
If we look our brothers which
stay out of Islamic boarding school, we will find them doing forbidden
something, they are celebrating the independence day by pleasuring and
enjoying. Let's in this moment, we have to socialize the inner moving again, we
beseech (memohon) to our god in order to be improved our country, peaceful, and
prosperous.
Let's remember our duties as
next state generation by getting and having knowledge as much as possible for
provisions of filling Indonesia
independence. As younger of Indonesia,
we have an obligation to continue our founding father struggle. Because the
younger today is the ones for tomorrow
As said wish word
Our founding father, the
president of Soekarno has ever
said" bring me ten younger, I will shake the world" it mean
that the younger has important actor bringing Indonesia good changes, because
they are next generation that still have good power for future. They will
replace actor of older.
But how to do the duties of the
younger maximally? It is a must. We study hard for a skill that is able to
bring changing, making good governance before becoming a leader. Every body
must be a leader, minimally in leader of family. It appropriate with umar bin
khattab said:
"Be understanding before
leading"
According to that saying, we
have to be understanding by mastering knowledge before becoming a leader
because if we are a leader we will not have time for studying. Let's we use
time properly, don’t be waste our time before coming the death time.
