A few months ago, I just bought my very first Nokia Lumia 710. After watching a lot of good reviews about the phone, I have been thinking about buy one myself. So, I did. But of course, I bought one via ebay (its a lot more cheaper). Buying things on ebay is good and cheap, however, the downside to ebay is the quality of the things that your buying. The seller may give you a good price and once you get the products, its bad. Therefore, you got to trust yourself and take the risk like anyone that buys from ebay.
When I got it, I was pretty excited for having a great new Nokia plus it was a windows phone. I knew nothing about windows phone but I have heard great reviews about them. I never had a windows phone before and the fact that it was a Nokia, I was going back to my roots because I am a Nokia fan. My first cellphones were Nokia. The fact that Nokia were not selling great with the touch screens the Windows Nokia phones had put them back on the market. But that was not the case.
What made me buy the phone was that I wanted to try a windows phone. I thought that a windows phone is a much easier to use than a Apple OS, Android, and Blackberry OS. Well, it is easy. easier. It's more simple but yet boring. You have blocks that presents your favorites,in which case your contacts,messages,social
networks,emails,yahoo,internet, Google,and games. Once you scroll through the next screen you will see other extra applications just like the ones on the block. Its just a waste of space. It has its own built in memory 8 gigabytes and its a 1.4 GHz of CPU, so its a fast processor. Scrolling through the screen and going online will be fast. However, there is no adobe flash player. Other operating systems has adobe flash players but the windows 7.5 does not have one. When there is no adobe flash player, videos from other websites. I have tried to watch a live streaming website and it would not allow me because there is no adobe flash player. I have a Sony Ericsson mini Xperia, that phone would allow me to watch live streaming websites because it has a adobe flash player. So, I'm pretty upset about the Nokia Lumia not have adobe flash player.
The main reason why I do not like my new Nokia Lumia 710 is that it takes in only micro sim cards. I do not know anything about micro sim cards. I have the normal sim card but not the mirco sim card. I did some research on how I can have my sim card turn into a mirco sim card and the only solution is that I cut it with a sim card cutter or if i do not have a sim card cutter, I have to cut my own sim card and turn it into mirco sim card. Well, there is a guide in the web that shows someone that would want to cut their sim cards on their own. I did not know that many new phones are now having micro sim cards. In the end, its my fault for buying something that is not good for me.
