I have done these steps and they works. Formerly I used these techniques in BA college, for other fields such as business, family, high school, etc, you need to read, observe and inovate a new way based on this article.
1. MUST DEFINE clear, short and long term orientations. I used to have long term orientation that I MUST graduate for 4 years cumlaude GPA 3.5 scale 4. My short term orientation is that I MUST take 20 credits minimally because the total credits are 151 for 4 years. I STATED THAT MUST BE BECAUSE SUCCESS IS AN OBLIGATION UNLESS YOU WILL JOIN IN THE LOSER QUADRANT
2. MUST make visual orientation because brain storage will be blur or declined because of additional memory. You can write it in an inviting books and a interesting handwriting within. You will not throw it away because you make it by heart, don't you?. YOU MAY STICK IT IN VISIBLE PLACE such as study room, closet door because you always take time in the bathroom, or on freezer because you like ice cream most.
3. MUST make your orientation in order such as studying, organization, working, dating. Does they belong to you orientation? Start from the most important one
4. AFFIRMATION. Imagine you get great GPA, graduating on time, get noble prize as you to be the best student, your fans ask for autograph, WOW. Imagine you fail, disappointed, your friends make fun of you, your parents angry, your girl friend grumbling , hard way to take next credits, getting hard to study. Imagine that INTOXICATION AND SEVERENESS. CHOOSE NOW!! Praying is a form of continuous affirmation. The important thing is that you must clear cut the words such graduate BA degree 4 years cumlaude GPA 3.5/4. Don't even try say "God helps me graduate BA" because it's not clear and probably your brain will respond "graduated in the next 10 years is OK, just graduate, isn't it?. WATCH OUT!!!
5. TAKE ACTION, don't wait until tomorrow. learn from your previous experience because I observe that successful men always stand up once again after their fallen. STAND UP ONCE AGAIN! when learning? now. accomplish homework? now. attending the classes? now. or you take next year? delay means DEATH, it's worst that fail
6. COMMITMENT. So many people want to be success, but only a few become really succeed because they have faithfulness toward their dream. What ever my weaknesses, I will achieve. SAID IT AGAIN. When we pray + struggling = result, just the matter of time. BE PASSION ...
7. EVALUATION. Define your strength and weakness. weakness need maintenance and strength needs improvement. For example... my learning style is visual that I write, read, and understand the subject. Probably you are auditory learner that need listen, repetition, and understand the subject. You might be practical learner that get understanding through learning experience. Choose also the perfect time to study based on your schedule
8. GET A COACH. Get success from a successful man. If you want to get MASTER DEGREE you must learn from any one whom has been graduated MASTER DEGREE.
9. TAKE EVERYTHING FOR GRANTED. You get everything on the right time. anything recent effect because of your effort cause. Be responsible to your life. Any result just take it for granted. If you want to get more you must work more. In other hand, if you work, pray normally and you want something more thus you are defined to be a CRAZY MAN.
