I think, soon I exist, for that I conquer. "A spiritual approach of the Speech of the Method of René Descartes
The man of the century XVII was investigator and it was looking for answers for their inquiries in relation to the Universe and to the world that surrounded him. The philosophers and scientists of that time dove in deep thoughts to look for logic in relation to the existence of everything to his circuit. In that historical context we have Illumines that defends rational knowledge as middle for the overcoming of prejudices and traditional ideologies. The Illumines is, to synthesize, a general attitude of thought and action. The illuminists admitted that the human beings are in condition to become this world a better world - by means of introspection, exempt exercise of the capacities human beings and the politico social enrollment. It is in this context that René Descartes writes the Speech of the Method which it searches the certainty for the affirmations of sciences. The Speech almost considers a model mathematician to lead the human thought, a time that the mathematics has for characteristic the certainty, an the absence of doubts.
The phrase, “I think, then I exist” of René Descartes express that the reason of the knowledge depends on the capacity of perception of the citizen, in the ways that it possess to have access to the objective data. This is equivalent to say that the knowledge is limited for the point of view, in the way as each one see. This point can be geographic, historical, cultural, spiritual and etc.
Doing an analysis through a point of view spiritual of the phrase “I think, then I exist”, emphasizing this agreement in what the supernatural faith says respect that is rational, therefore is based on the reason and not on the emotion, we can affirm that if we believe that we go to conquer, thus we will have what we want, we obtain what we project in the thought, therefore we emphasize in mind the desire object. René Descartes approaches in his Speech that the existence of God is proven because, existing the reason and the thought, it is necessary to have a bailer of this reason and this thought, something that gives coherence to it. For the reason, God exists. I believe that he wants to say that by the faith God exists.
The faith is the certainty of things that if wait, the certainty of facts that are not seen. (Hebrew 11:1). Therefore that I dare to add in the phrase of René Descartes plus a word, “I think, then I exist, therefore I conquer.” The faith that grants to me this force, dare and brave, being that, I conquer successes in sentimental, familiar, professional, financial the life, in the health, and over all in the life spiritual in what it says respect the salvation and eternal life.
“To follow, making the reflection on the fact that I doubt, and that therefore my being was not absolutely perfect, because I way that it was bigger perfection to know of what doubting, I clearly perceived that of this reflection concluded the existence of something more perfect than I age; e I perceived clearly that this perception came of a nature that was in fact more perfect [that mine]. (...) To be said in a word, that was God.” René Descartes
