And the Flowers Showered

Book Summary   by:AaqarshAiyyar     Original Author: OSHO/ Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh
ª

Flowers shower on you, when you are engrossed on a true transcendental emptiness. When it can happen to Shubuti, the prime disciple of Buddha, it can also happen to you. The whole art of meditation is not to be a person and move to the empty center rather than staying in the periphery.

Sex and anger are beautiful when they take their positive form i.e., Compassion, only if they are self-witnessed instead of being controlled or expressed. The candle of life has to be burnt intensely from both the ends to experience a quality death. ‘The art of no shooting’ is the foremost lesson an archer needs to learn.

Flowers shower if you are true to that moment, only to that moment, not caring about the dead past or the unknown future. When ‘Master’ Tozan was weighing some flax in the storeroom, a monk asked him “ What is Buddha? “ and the enlightened master replied, “ This flax weighs five pounds”.

Solve your problems first and then you get clarity to help others too. You are not different from God and Truth. When you are nothing, flowers shower on you.
